Veterinary Assistant Instructor - Grooming (Part-Time)

Rend Lake College seeks a part-time Veterinary Assistant Instructor - Grooming to teach an evening animal grooming class during the Fall 2019 semester for Rend Lake College's Allied Health Division. The successful candidate will demonstrate instructional skills that provide high quality student learning and engagement. // Part-time nontenure-track position.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have documentation of at least 2 years experience as a pet groomer; previous training experience preferred.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
SALARY & BENEFITS
  • $30 per contact hour for first-time college instructors.
  • Free tuition for employee after four semesters..
