It is time to complete for the 2021-2022 school year! The FAFSA must be completed each year so new and returning students should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.
You can complete the FAFSA by logging into fafsa.ed.gov. If you do not have a FSA ID, you will need to create one by clicking on "create" when asked for the ID.
If you or your parents (of a dependent student) filed taxes in 2019, you will need to have those on hand. It is best for the parent and student to complete the FAFSA together.
There are grants and campus aid that are awarded on a first come, first serve basis so it is important to submit your FAFSA right away. If you have any questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office at email@example.com or 618-437-5321 ext. 1385 during business hours.

Financial aid and scholarship refunds will be disbursed on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Do you have your BankMobile account activated and ready for your refund?
Refunds can be received either by the BankMobile debit card or by direct deposit to your bank account. If you choose the BankMobile debit card, your funds will be on the card by the end of the business day on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. If you choose to have the fund sent to your bank account by direct deposit, it will take another day or two to reach your bank account.
Still need to activate your BankMobile account? Please contact the Business Office at 618-437-5321 ext. 1235.

Many people believe that you must be a full-time student to receive financial aid. That is not correct! To be eligible for aid, you need to be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours and pursuing a degree or certificate at Rend Lake College.
Complete your FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov to see if you qualify. You will need to complete the 19-20 FAFSA for the Summer 2020 semester and the 20-21 FAFSA for the Fall 2020, Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 semesters.
